What I thought was simply a hobby,
something to pass the time,
turned out to be something that fills me,
lets me feel energized.
When I’m sad, it helps nurse—
until I’m back feeling fine.
It even helps me unravel—
what gnaws on the inside.
Connects the dots, pieces me together,
a good search through my mind.
Created in God’s likeness,
it’s in my design to create this life.
